We live in a rapidly changing world and changing with it is a must. We can no longer wait for a generation shift to make the change happen, but we need to change within a generation, and several times so. This is by far the biggest challenge organisations face today and it requires personal adaptability and change, from each and every one, for an organisation to stay productive today. Not always easy! Especially when time is tight and the outside changes are faster and more demanding than the adaptability skills at hand. Human capital need to develop personal techniques to be quick at change so we can operate in moving environments.
The best way to see through a noisy, active and contradictive situation is to stay clearheaded and still and meet what is in the now. Like in the eye of the storm. The mastery is to stay in the eye while you move with the storm and bring what you want out of it. Always changing, always adapting, and still stay anchored. How to do that?
Science is catching up with what contemplative traditions have been practicing for hundreds of years and breakthroughs in neuroscience prove that there are techniques that actually sculpt the brain to better respond to change. These techniques stimulate and strengthen the neural foundations of a joyful, caring and insightful mind that will take the right creative and positive decisions for your company at every daily intersection it meets.
What this means in practice is that by exercising your brain in a certain way you become a positive and creative person that will communicate and interact with others in such way that you make things happen and prosper. You will through your joyful a wise mind-set attract the best partners and you will be able to participate and lead with mastery and bring the strategy you define to success. You are the master of the storm.
At Maryssael Consulting and Coaching we help companies and their individuals- leaders and co-workers- to use these techniques and insights to strengthen the brain and its foundations in order to maximise the potential of its human capital. We believe that mindfulness techniques, awareness and re-sculpting of the brain are as important to the personal development and wellbeing as physical activity and sports. And it needs as much work and support to make it happen!

I have a broad international experience and have managed teams both in the industry and international organisations, at mid and top management levels for many years. I have been through several reorganisations and managed the implementation of new strategies and processes such as Quality Assurance, ERP-SAP and Prince2 for project management. Life as a leader has been both joyful and challenging. A constant learning process of both outer and inner development that at times has been painful! As when you have done a hard workout, you get totally exhausted and the day after your body aches. But how wonderful it feels- to develop! |
